The Three Pots Inn

Cy Voller sent through these 2 photos of the Three Pots Inn at Burbage, associated with the Sharnford Holliers from around 1853 into the 20th century. In 1861, Edward and Sarah Hollier were there. In 1871, it was occupied by the widow Sarah Hollier and her family. In 1881 William Goode Hollier was landlord. In 1891, the Steedon family were at the Three Pots, and in 1901 were joined by Allen Hollier who had married into the Steedon family in 1899. The top photo shows the original building and that below shows how it was extended in the early 20th century. According to Harry Duckworth, this building burnt down, but there is still a pub on the site. The whole surrounding estate is now known as Three Pots.
