Howard Mathieson mentioned a source for Canadian newspaper extracts from WW2 on the Guild Forum. I found records for Percy Hollyer, Hubert Hollier and Ernest Holyer.

I Met you a few years ago in Toronto at a Hollyer reunion. It has been for me the first and only time that I have met any Hollyers. I'm Dawn, daughter of Ed Hollyer living in Ottawa. I'm just searching for Hollyers on the net. I put in Percy Hollyer and found the newspaper announcements of his death. Put in my Dad's and you will find a clip from the Canadian Memory Project.Take care. Bye.
